About Me
My name is Bridgett Smallwood, aka Bre. I am originally from Kansas City, KS (Wyandotte). I have always loved doing hair since I was little, starting with baby dolls to my little cousins. This passion for hairdressing gave me a sense of peace and led me to pursue a career in barbering.
Fun Facts
I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, going to concerts, traveling, and riding around while vibing to R&B music.

I graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Overland Park. While I don't have any certifications yet, I continuously strive to expand my skills and knowledge in the field.

My professional aspirations include transitioning to the business side of hairdressing, selling hair and products. I'm available Tuesday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, and Saturday from 7am to 3pm.
Why Barbering?
I have always had a passion for doing hair. It started when I was young, working on baby dolls and then on my little cousins. The peace and satisfaction I get from hairdressing drove me to pursue it as a career.
Work & INspiration
The smile on my clients' faces at the end of a session is what I love most about being a barber. While no-call no-shows and same-day cancellations are challenging, the joy and confidence my clients feel after a successful appointment make it all worthwhile. I find inspiration from various hairstylists online, pushing me to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. I stay updated with the latest trends by watching numerous videos and taking classes when I can.

My style changes often as I like to move with the trends. I love trying new things, especially crazy colors and styles. Expression through hair makes my heart happy!
I love doing color! Color will always be my favorite.
I’d say coloring. Not a lot of people in KCK do the crazy colors, and I encourage expression through hair, which my clients trust and love.
